It is not too dark but I would adjust the contrast... just a bit.

I'd like to ask a quick favour of any PC users on the list. It's the
thorny old gamma question: does this look too dark to you?

When I set my Mac monitor gamma to 2.2, the grass directly beneath you
goes black, and I lose all the shadow detail in the tree trunk. How
does it look to you? If you've got a PC and a Mac, which looks best?
Any opinions gratefully received.
Also, if anyone has any concrete thoughts on the noisy chap singing
overhead, please let me know. My vote's for a song thrush, but I
couldn't spot him, so I could well be wrong. Oh, and the R2-D2 noise
really is the bird - it's just the effect of the camera's
low-bandwidth recording system (I forgot to take anything better with
me).
By the way, is embedding sound in the QTVR the right way to go about
things now?
Thanks,
Richard
