The preparation server seems to be running appreciably more slowly just
now (morning in California, afternoon in Europe) than usual.
My guess is that a lot of you are browsing the site as it nears
completion. This is allowed, but please understand - the prep server is
not a real server, it is a little Mac G4 cube. When preparation is
complete, the new event is moved to the Geo-Images server, which is a
much higher capacity machine (dual G5 X-Serve).
So please do not go through the site looking at every fullscreen. Hold
on a few days, and let the prep server concentrate on its main task,
accepting uploads and edits.
