Energy:
I've noticed that the dates we have listed for the next event,
Energy, say 15-21 September. I think that this should be 21-25
September since the equinox falls on the 21st and 22nd (depending on
where you are). I'll have to chat with Don and verify our dates, but
he'll be out of contact for the next two weeks so please give me a
little time. If you absolutely need to nail the dates down now so
that you can work on getting permissions for your intended shoot,
send me an email and we'll figure it out (#removed#).
Best of 2005:
I also wanted to make sure that you were all aware of the plans for
December. Instead of a themed event with a specific period for
photography, we want to offer a showcase for your best or favorite
panorama that you took in 2005. The rules are that the panorama
should have been taken sometime in the year 2005 and we'll open up
the server for uploading in mid to late December. The site will go
live on New Year's Day 2006.
This event will only be open to photographers who have participated
in at least one previous World Wide Panorama event. So if you
haven't managed to submit a panorama to the WWP yet and you've got a
great pano that you took this year, make sure you participate in the
upcoming Energy Equinox.
And keep your eye out for that great panorama to be submitted for the
Best of 2005.
