Landis,
A good way to avoid this problem is not to use the POP UP technic for
showing the full screen panorama.
Just a normal link to that page, Display the full screen panorama on the
same browser window.
That allows to not have the double sound on both pages at once.
You can see an example on the following page at my site :

On the full screen panorama, just change the link "Otros Panoramas" to go
back to the Normal Page.
