QuickTime + WWP my 2 cents

I don't believe the intention of the WWP was to promote QT or any other media player.
It was my understanding the WWP was to be an educational resource, giving students,
parents and teachers access to visual information from countires around the world.
I guess QT was choosen because most schools have QuickTime installed and it can play
virtual reality panoramas on any operating system and on old, slow computers.
With the popularity of iTunes + iPods (and the WWP) the world wide install base of QT is
growing annually.
I look forward to viewing and reading the narratives with the submissions to the
transporation event.
