Landis, thank you for taking the time and trouble to list some of
the main considerations for keeping WWP as it is, with QuickTime
central. I am quite convinced by what you say, and see further
discussion of the many (admittedly attractive) alternatives as
quite pointless. Allowing people to link to their own sites, where
they can use just whatever they like to show their panoramas, is
surely all you need to do right now.
QT may be (from some points of view) the lowest common denominator,
but that "low" is pretty "high" (from other points of view) <g>
