You know, I did my WWP "Transportation" pano at my airport; I shot
panos all over the place (in the terminal and outside in the pretty
garden in front of the terminal that butts right up to the taxiway)
and carried my strange looking equipment and bags about without even
getting a strange look! I was shocked at the lack of hassle. To say
I was disappointed would be the wrong word, but beforehand I was very
worried about ending up getting strip-searched or something. Go
figure. Maybe I was ok since I wasn't carrying a bottle of water or
anything 8-)

Now, when you say something about skydecks, that reminds me of a
story. A local photographer was hired to take shots of a new
building at a local church. He did this from the top deck of a
downtown parking garage. When he came down, the police were there
and wanted to question him! Turns out that an employee of the church
he was photographing had called the police to report that some guy
was engaging in "terrorist-like activities"!!!! I wish I were making
this up, but it is true.
