Good Morning Markus,

WOW.. so we are uploading good once again. (SMILE) I love the WWP.

Got one question for the official numbers guy. over all these years, just
HOW many panoramas have we collected in the WWP collection of all the
events.. and how many photographers have contributed over the years..?

I feel that this event represent a huge foot-print in the world of
panoramaphotography, with litterally a Who-is-who contributing and the whole
of the event being much more than any endividula panorama ever could be.

Sincerely Bo Lorentzen

Hi,

I'd like to toss a few numbers around for our most
recent events, and add a reminder for the Wrinkle
tribute (see below).

So far, we have 97 entries for the "Best of 2007",
with 60 panoramas uploaded, 59 fullscreens and four
soundtracks, and about six days remaining.

The Wrinkle 10th anniversary tribute has 86 entries so
far, 44 panos uploaded, 43 fullscreens and two
soundtracks.

This is the first time the WWP has two listings online
at once, which may be a bit confusing - so make sure
you don't accidentally post your Wrinkle pano at the
"Best of", and vice versa.

REMINDER:
To qualify for the Wrinkle tribute, your panorama MUST
have been photographed between December 21st, 18:08
London/Greenwich/Universal Time, and December 22nd,
18:08 London/Greenwich/Universal Time (ideally, on
Dec.22nd, 0608 UTC). Please do not send in panoramas
taken outside this timeframe, we'll need to check the
date/time before the new events get published.

I'll update the thumbnails from time to time (most
likely daily in the european evening/night). Since i'm
using a screenshot capture script to make the
thumbnails (at 2:1 aspect ratio), there happen to be a
few with less-than-nice cropping that i've yet to fix
by hand.
Checking the server account requests also is manual
labor, so please be patient - you may receive your
mailed password within the hour, or it could take a
day or two. If it takes longer than that, check that
it's not disappeared into your spam mail filter (if
applicable).

Meanwhile, all the best Season's greetings from:
Markus
resident WWP code monkey ;)
