It seems I've mixed up the events starting this April (with Gabi's message) with my non-existing recollection of the September posting I obviously made at the Heise forum. I've searched my mail archive, but do not have any sent-mail file on the globorama topic from September 2007, though the forum posting clearly states I intended to send a message to "the admins". I don't recall why I didn't immediately follow through with that, because judging from the time stamp, I must've been sitting at my home computer at that time.
I honestly can't remember why I failed to do that, and I'm sorry..

Hi, that's actually me. This was about the time the ZKM was already in contact with Don, and
at that time, it seemed to me as if the issue had been made clear to them, i.e. assuming
they'd know they'd have to contact the individual photographers. I usually don't make
announcements on the list except when everyone else is busy...
