On June 21, I am going to the "Yoga in Times Square" at 8 a.m. Last year I did my panorama there on the theme "elevation". But the theme "time" is even better. I found out that the first event in Times Square was sponsored by the NY Times newspaper in 1904, the year my mother was born. I'm thinking about times, the times, which is a vague notion of a period of time, what it was like. The newspaper of course is a report on current times.
Is anyone else going to be there? Any ideas? Any good places to go? All I can remember is a MacDonald's restaurant which was cheap and strangely enough, almost deserted. A nice respite from the incredibly busy streets north of 42nd on Broadway.
