Hi Colin,
The order page for the Virtual Reality Photography book accepts credit
cards, debit cards, even e-check payments.

When you click on the "Buy Now" button, you'll be taken to a PayPal
page. On the left hand side, near the bottom, there is a link under
"Don't have a PayPal account?" Click on the "Continue button, and
you'll be taken to another page where you can enter credit or debit
card info, or bank account info for a transfer.
Most of the orders we've been receiving are via credit card, rather
than PayPal account transfers, so it does seem to work pretty well.
There is a sentence there that says "Use your credit card or bank
account (where available)..." so it may be possible that this service
isn't in your area or via your ISP / browser, etc. But we've been
getting other orders from California without problem.
Let me know if you're still having a problem with this, and perhaps we
can arrange to simply have you mail a check.
