- woke my tastebuds. Not so much for what's literally in the image,
but for the memory it brought. Brick Lane's curry houses are... well,
some are fantastic, and they're almost all a fascinating experience.
It was amusing to see the phrase "Curry Chef Of The Year 2009". When
I was last there I must have seen half a dozen similar signs down the
road. Either that chef is a fleet-footed moonlighting magician or
people play a little fast and loose with the phrase... :-)
