Re: Is it a photo or a painting?

I like your thinking. It seems that as I age I keep agreeing with everyone. Everything seems to be true. However, of course I still have my slant or bias and background. Paint is liquid colored stuff. True. But ever since in 1987 using MacPaint on my computer, when I smudge pixels on my screen I completely feel like I'm painting. In any case, my choices on the WWP server for region are either Artistica (non-photographic) or Florida.
Maybe the problem is that there really isn't a clear distinction since photographers always depend on more or less software intervention and touch up whereas digital art often incorporates photographs. So maybe my decision stems from how important I feel the region is. OK, I see that I can explain this problem or opportunity in "Behind the Scene". I'll call it as you suggest.

In the making, in Photoshop, I played with the seam and a bit with the N and S poles. So is it a photograph with earthly coordinates? Or have I crossed the boundaries of photographic panorama editing and turned it into a painting? In my view, this is a record of the time and place that my camera made, so I'd say my region is USA-Florida. But alternatively, I could say my region is Artistica (non-photographic) Panoramic Paintings
