Event "Weather" underway; bigger uploads possible

Hello all,
the upload period for the ?Weather? event is now underway, and I?d like to give some info about changes in uploading. We had a file size limit of ~7 MB before, and a recommendation for the pixel size of 6000-8000px (due to flash player limitations).
The new JPEG upload size limit is now 10 MB, and the system can handle pixel sizes beyond the 8192px limit, too. So if your panorama is 10'000 x 5'000, no need to scale it down any more! You may still need to use JPEG compression at e.g. 60% to stay below the 10 MB, and I'd recommend to not push the width much higher than 12-14'000 px since this impacts viewing performance for our visitors.
I'm also working on incorporating more of the "tiled loading" options of krpano, so even if there?s no immediately visible gain from uploading a bigger pano JPEG, there will be in the future.
