Definitely the non-grainy. 

Mozilla is misbehaving with your pan and displaying it 96 pixels high 
instead of 96%. 
I spent some time going through your code and my code to see what was 
different and why this happens.
It happened to be the very first line
You have
  <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
   "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
by changing it to
  <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
It works fine.


I have submitted a bug to Mozilla.
