wwp@yahoogroups.com: The bridges in Shanghai,China pr 2004-Sep-28 09:46:00
Dear All,
I've looked through many of your excellent works on bridge.
I shoot two bridges in Shanghai, Lupu Bridge and Waibaidu Bridge.
Lupu Bridge is world's longest arch bridge built in June 2002.
Waibaidu Bridge is the first steel bridge in China, built in 1970.
The experts said Waibaidu Bridge could remain use for 30 years.
Please excuse my unprofessional. It?rrained that day and the lighting
was not so good.

The above two bridges are shot with Canon 10D and Sigma 8mm fisheye lens,
stitched 4 fisheye images with Panoweaver 4.0 internal version.
Panoweaver 4.0 is the upcomming upgrad version of 3.01 which supports
SLR camera. The core algorithm has been fulfilled. But the GUI design
is not available now. Therefore it is only for internal use in Easypano.
Hopefully it will be released by the end of this year. This bridge panorama
is just an attempt for using our new techonolodgy.

This one is shot with Nikon Coolpix 4500 and FC-E8 fisheye lens,
stitched with Panoweaver 3.01.

Thanks for your time.
Please do not hesitate to ask if we can be of further service.

Best regards,

James
