Allan,
If you used a panhead (which it certainly looks like you did), you
should be able to avoid the tilted horizon (most noticeable by
following the waterline) by placing some horizontal and/or vertical
control points.
I'm sure someone here can give you a much better description of how
it's done than I can, but you can also find some info on that in the
PTMac help files.
This should reduce the amount of black area that you've got to the
point where you can just crop it.
