There's also the fact that your GPS may be giving
you values in a different format.
We require:
Deg Min Sec (eg. 38 deg 45' 45" N)
There's a converter if you've got decimal degrees:
Deg.dddd (eg 38.7625)
But my GPS (and Kaz's) gives me decimal minutes:
Deg Min.mmm (eg 38 deg 45.75' N)
If I ignored that decimal point and entered: 38
deg 45' 75" it would just ignore me (since you
can't have 75 seconds in a minute!). There
should probably be a warning that pops up, but
you can't catch everything.
