wwp@yahoogroups.com:
please shoot :-)

I hope everyone is making plans to shoot for the World Wide Panorama
this weekend. The more people participate the more variety and interest
on the final site. Plus it is a great opportunity to get your work
displayed - a guarantee of international exposure. And your work will
be up there alongside that of the real masters of VR and all the
amazing images from the last year of events.
Don't let anything discourage you from shooting! Bad weather? - no
problem, diffuse light can be great, or you can shoot indoors. Not
experienced enough to deal with a lot of moving people? - just shoot
early in the day, or at night, or use a super slow shutter speed to
capture ghosts. Don't think your neighborhood is interesting enough? -
use your imagination, don't be too literal about "marketplace". Look at
the creative ways that people have interpreted the previous themes -
bridges and sanctuary.
Here's some extra incentive - as Landis mentioned we will be hosting a
"best of 2005" showcase in December. But it will only be open to those
who have already participated in one of the WWP events. So if you want
to show off that absolutely amazing panorama you have made (or will
make) that didn't fit with WWP times or dates, it will be perfect, a
high-profile web site with a spot reserved for you.
Consider joining up with another panographer, both for learning and for
fun. We have had several husband-wife submissions, and also some
teacher-student groups. I will be shooting with two students for this
event.
