Does the image width have to be divisible by 2 to join correctly?

Hi, I am using pano2QTVR to make my cyclindrical pano into a .MOV and
I have found that sometimes the qtvr does not have a good join (where
the start and end of 360 meet). I seemed to remember reading something
about you need to make sure the jpg file dimensions are divisible by 2
or 4 or something, Did I imagine this or is this true.
Is this why sometimes the join is no good?
P.S. The jpg files have a perfect join, its somthing to do with
pano2QTVR thats messing it up but I have no idea whats making it
happen.
Please help, has anyone else seen this problem?
