Hi ?

Just a few tips for you.
You say you used 1024x768 pixels images but you did not say how many.
The size of the final panorama depends on that.

Now what you should do is export the panorama as an equirectangular
(spherical) image from Stitcher.
This is your basic panrama for creating QTVR movies or files for other
viewers. Or to print out.
Forget everything about VRML, it is not a viewer we usually use. If we
do VRML type interactive use the SPiV viewer which is based on
macromedia Shockwave and not a very rarely used VRML plugin.

Before making the movie optimize the panorama with sharpening and
colors in Photoshop.

To make the movie for a fullscreen resize the panorama to about
2500x5000 pixels for a cubic.
Cubefaces should be 1200 to 1800 pixels. The default from a 5000 pixels
panorama is about 1600x1600
Larger than 2000 pixels cubefaces will not pan very good even on newer
computers.
You can use Stitcher, PanoCube or Pano2QTVR or on Mac MakeCubic (free)
or CubicConverter to make the movie.

Use JPG compression set at 40-50% compression in Stitcher.
Panocube and Pano2QTVR uses another scale I believe 50% is same as 70%
but as you can specify external compressor in Pano2QTVR it could be
different with another compressor software. Very confusing but thats
how they do it on Windows.
As far as I know Stitcher use the same scale on Windows as we use on
Mac and in Photoshop Windows/PC

This will usually give you a movie of 1-1.8 mb depending on the
subject. Much details means larger size.
To much sharpening means larger size as you can not split the colors in
lager areas. You have to experiment with this yourself to learn how you
get the best results.

Tiling is set in Stitcher also. You can use for example 3x3 tiling
which gives you a very nice effect and fast download of the first
tiles. More tiles can make the movies slightly larger but it is less
than 5%.
