If you can see your contribution in the 'preview' link, the upload is fine.

For almost every event the 'approval' process begins a couple of days
into the editing period. This one is slightly different because it's
the holiday season and we've been out and about without internet
access and/or time to go through all of the submissions on a daily
basis.

For those who are wondering, here's the basics. 'Approval' consists
of us mostly editing the title and geographic location for
consistency across the entire event. We also try to check the normal
and fullscreen files and make sure they work. Usually we check links
as well and make sure they are correct or at least valid.

The problem that we face is that after an approval, if the user edits
their entry, it is automatically 'disapproved' so that we can check
and make sure that nothing was changed that we'd need to fix again.
This was taking the vast majority of the time (re-approving things
we'd already seen). So Markus added a great flag that allowed us to
see which ones the participant was done editing: the 'early approval'
request. But it seems to me that we see an awful lot of these that
get edited again after we approve them. So this event with the
busyness of this time of year, rather than spend time approving and
re-approving, we spent time with our families.

We'll get the approval process going soon. There's very little
reason to suspect that you won't get approved. We make *every*
effort to make this as open as possible. And this theme is easy - if
you took it during the year, you're fine.

Hope this helps explain a bit. Sorry for the delay.
