Hello from the deep snows of New England.
I have been following this thread with interest, as I too have always felt that the terms
QTVR and VR are meaningless to most of the folks who make up our audience.
As a photographer I have always been amused, and find it curious, that the different types
photography have been described by the motion of the final photograph. Mostly we take
"Stills", pictures that move of course are "Movies" and my favorite motion is "Slides" after
the motion of a transparency in a projector. Maybe we should consider a motion
description for what we do. Maybe we are shooting "Spinners" or "Rotators" I am
convinced that the exact name is out there - we just haven't discovered it yet. Just a
thought from a snowbound mind.
