I'm really new in this list (only couple of days) and
I understand I have not any authority to write here but
I would like to put a short comment.
I think the original idea to have "What Happens on the Theme"
link to solstice or equinox is just to have four times in
a year to make (and submit) our work and share it with everybody.
Reading the rules for the "Marketplace theme" they looks for me very
flexible and let us be very creative, giving a very
close feeling of "What Happens on the Day"
I'm pointing this just because I live near the equator
(8?30'north),
in Venezuela, and here weather and seasons are (almost!) all the same
around the year! Maybe I know about solstice or equinox because
I work in astronomy but for 98% people in my country it has
no sense or are only words your study or read in a book.
Every thing looks more or less similar! Some times we
have rain... sometimes we have not... nothing else.
I will go tomorrow to "el mercado principal" just as we do every
weekend (...to be honest... most of the times my wife go
alone!) it will looks similar at it always is, but this
time I will go with my camera and fisheye! I will try to
get a nice shot.

if I bother you all.
