wwp@yahoogroups.com: Borders begins today! G. Donald Bain 2006-Mar-15 15:53:00
Today is the day to start shooting for the next event in the World
Wide Panorama series. We hope many of you will join us.

The theme is "borders", which you may interpret literally or
metaphorically. The world is full of interesting edges, from
political borders to natural boundaries.

To be eligible you must create the base images (photography) during
the period of March 15 through 21, then submit the finished VR
panorama (or object movie) before March 29. There are rules on file
sizes, dimensions, and data format (QTVR only). The final site will
be available April 1.

For full information refer to:
http://geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp/practical/NextEvent.html

The site currently showcases 1759 panoramas by 605 different
participants. It has excellent navigation tools (including Google
Earth), biographical information, and lots of links.

We are looking forward to another great event!
