Panorama Narratives

Every submission should include at least a short description of what the pano is about. (or be
subject to exclusion)
It was mentioned before it helps browser search ranking and more importantly...
one of the original reasons for this site was educational content.
Allowing educators to use our content to show students a window on different parts of the
world at a particular moment (week) in time.
Ray Broussard's description of what New Orleans is like after the flood made the submission.
I felt some of his and other residents frustration. To me without this description the pano
was of an unfinished cement wall in a park, with it I have an understanding of the situation
and the unfinished cement wall has a meaning more than any picture can tell.
If a pano doesn't have a caption I usually pass it buy, I may look at it after I've purused all the
other submissions but unless it is of exceptional quality it collects dust.
With online translators there is no reason not to include a short description in the language
of the producer. I know sometimes we are rushed but it only takes 5 minutes to come up with
something to say.
