I downloaded your pano and converted it to an equirectangular  TIF file. 
Opened it in Photoshop and ran Image/Adjustments/Highlight-Shadow. This 
gave me a great range of adjustments, particularly in the mid-tone 
contrast range.

Other Photoshop filters that you may want to play with are:

Color Balance
Photo Filter
Exposure.

You may never be able to obtain the range of choices that are available 
in a RAW image but a lot can be done using the filters above.
