UnRarX from http://www.unrarx.com/ is a utility to decompress .rar
archives on a Mac. You can find more information about the .rar file
format on the wikipedia:
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rar>
Instead of double clicking a file with an unknown extension on a Mac
it's sometimes helpful to ctrl+click and have a look at the "Open
with..." submenu.
