Scott,

Thank you for your email.

Have it been a decade and a half already.? Shoot we have been doing VR's for a long time already, remember the first multi-level kaidan rigs..? HUUGE monsters. :-)

Did not want to create a controversy about this at all. Like you over the years I have answered a lot of questions, seems like the world is full of people learning how to stitch because they just sold a real-estate development for $125 for the lot and now desperately need to know how to stitch their 45-200mm f 6.5 zoom lens into sphericals. :-)
( not to mention the ones wondering if 18 or 24 megapix is the best starting point for web-vr.? )

I do appreciate your book. but I have also omitted mentioning my own VR related products on this list, simply because I think the list serves a purpose as it is, commercial free. its a fuzzy line I suppose, next thing one know we will have the designers of nodal ninja announcing design updates. etc.

Personally, and considering I have not contributed to the last few WWP's, Im really in no way the guy to speak, but I have always preferred a signature line or two on peoples names.

Not really disagreeing, you have done a great deal to help people learn how to do panorama photography over the years, and it IS reasonable for your book to be prominently featured in the community, Im just not sure the best way to do that without letting loose the demons on the list in general.

Scott, Im sorry, I was being sarcastic after the re-announcement that the pre-order discount was about to expire, Shoot I get similar announcements for pre-aproved blue pills frequently, (how do they know?) The point is that the first and second etc were meaningful, but after a while I simply ignored them, and this is a favorite email list of mine which I actually read every message from, I would like to keep it appropriate and to the point in the future also.

Hmm, I probably should just butt out of this entirely and keep reading my favorite WWP list. :-)

  Bo
