I had a temptation to upload one of these panos for the 'Garden' event: http://www.burger.si/QTVR/Dogodki/2006_DanDrzavnosti/TrgRepublike_01.htm...
Today it is a national holiday here in Slovenia - it is like independence day and yesterday evening it was a celebration on the Republic Square in Ljubljana. This year it is 15 years since the country became independent. I had many arguments to qualify panos into the Garden WWP: the Republic Square use to be a monastery garden and my father played here when he was a kid. He said that it was a beautiful garden but the urban development of Ljubljana needed space so huge buildings and the square replaced the monastery garden. Most of the time the square is used as a huge parking place with three underground levels... unfortunately...
The other argument was that Slovenia is the most green country in Europe - over 60% of the country is covered with the woods and beside the Norway there is the largest source of the water - the country is kind of the garden hidden on the south-eastern side of the Alps...
Well it was a temptation, but I have already uploaded some other pano...so let it be.
