If you only want to do panoramas, get the Nikon because of the f/2.8  
fast lenses (specially made for the smaller CCD too).

Otherwise the flexibility of the Canon 10-22mm looks interesting, but  
22mm is still so wide that you'd probably swap lenses anyway.

So if you're swapping lenses anyway, you may as well get the Nikon so  
you can have the f/2.8 lenses. Fast glass is everything!

One more factor is that your stitcher program should support fisheye,  
otherwise you'll have to use normal wide-angle.
