Tricky question... what is a country? Member of UN? (but..was Switzerland a country before 2002? What about Taiwan?) Community on the territory with own government? (Is Somalia a country?), are Kosovo or Ossetia countries? ...what about Kurdistan..? England vs. Scotland? Antartica? Is country only a toponym?
Hmm.. I am only provocative... most probably diversity of (subjective) ideas about what country is...
