I was at the HDR conference at Stanford last fall and chatted with a couple of high end camera engineers. Higher dynamic range chips are on the way with the only question, "How high is high?" The new Nikon chip is nice, but what would a 20-stop RAW file do for the HDR photography world not to mention amateurs who can learn to refine exposure and contrast after the fact?
