I doubt very much if the site is there for the purpose of promoting
QTVR. It looks a lot like they are a tour operator selling trips,
although I don't speak Russian.
In my experience, some tour operators are fair to deal with,
especially when you're willing to take the time to educate them
about copyright, prices and quality issues. Others are notorious
about copyright violations and trying to get something for nothing.
Don could at least save the web page to his hard drive before the
company pulls the QTVR's.
We'll never be able to completely eliminate copyright violations,
but it would certainly be worth a discussion about how to discourage
the activity. Maybe a copyright notice and contact info visible in
the nadir? That might stop some pirates and would also increase the
chances someone will notify the author when a violation occurs.
