Have you ever seen the Earthbrowser from Lunar Software?
It is a view from space down to earth.
You can zoom in and out.
There are a lot of links (hotspots) to
-> Webcams
-> Weather information
-> Volcanos
-> Earthquakes
As I understand the hotspots gets there data from the internet.
Maybe they can also include hotspots to the wwp-locations?
(it would be as nice as the webcams are, click will open directly
a window with the panorama.)
Earthbrowser works on Mac and PC.
