The release is available on the server in three forms:
- as html, view it in a browser, includes clickable links:

- as pdf, also has clickable links:
http://geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp/Water-PressRelease.pdf

These will be linked from the site in the next iteration (Friday).
Willing to translate into other languages? Send them to me, Landis, or
Markus and we will put them on the server also.
To write this brief release I first looked at every panorama and read
every caption, taking notes. Then I compiled lists of different
subjects and approaches, noting the outstanding examples. From that I
wrote a preliminary version, in which I cited about 60 panoramas. Too
many. Then I very painfully reduced that to just twelve for the final
version. I think they represent the range of subject matter and
geographic locations, and will appeal to the public as outstanding
example of our art.
Thanks to everyone who made it so difficult to choose!
