wwp@yahoogroups.com: Seen them all! Robert Bilsland 2006-Jan-04 23:17:00
Well I took the time and over a few nights I have now looked at all
the "Best of 2005" entries and what a great lot of submissions there
are. A great mix of outside / inside, day / night, industrial / rural
panoramas from all seasons. I thought that the presentation of Brandon
Rowell's Minneapolis Skyline from the Stone Arch Bridge was very
clever, converting the panorama back into roughly aligned photos.

The one thing that strikes me from looking at all these panoramas is
the great colours. From the orange and blues of Patricio Armijo's
Magic Hour, the browns of Landis Bennett's Autumnal Vines, the yellow
and greens of Duri Campell's Tate London, the white and pinks of
Richard C. Drew's Frozen Twilight, the brown and greens of Tudor
Jenkins's Beech Woods in Autumn, the orange and blacks of Kevin
Kratzke's Wisconsin Sunset, and the blue and whites of George H
Thomas's Timberline Lodge. There are plenty more that I could have
listed, but that is for others to find.

Thanks again for everyone who submitted an entry, they have all been a
lot of fun to see and read the backgrounds behind them.

Bob Bilsland.
