The various icons are Previous, Open Fullscreen, A-Z, Regions, Thumbnails, Show In Map, Next.
The detail information is Description, Location, Time/Date and Equipment.
The only item in there I can see that would be 'of interest only to a minority of technically inclined visitors' is the Equipment detail.
Please explain what the other items are that would be 'of interest only to a minority of technically inclined visitors'?
So you think we should lose everything but the pano itself?

Sorry, but I really can't see the benefits of comments, ranking systems etc.
The current interface is already cluttered with various icons,
buttons, boxes and detail information that is of interest only to a
minority of technically inclined visitors.
This all detracts attention from the panoramas themselves which
should be the clear focus. I'd welcome a simplification of the
overall design rather than adding more features that will compete
visually with the panoramas.
