Yes, it is that time of year again - when the World Wide Panorama
gives you an opportunity to show off your best work of the year.
The next quarterly event will be "Best of 2008". Review the work you
have done this past year and decide what single VR panorama you would
like to share. There is no theme for this event, the requirement is
simply that the photography be done during the year 2008 (plus the
usual file size and format rules).
The server will be open for you to create your page and upload
panoramas beginning a week from today - Thursday December 18, and will
remain open almost two weeks, until December 30. We plan to have the
new edition on-line by New Years Day, January 1, 2009.
This event will mark the beginning of a new era for the WWP - starting
January 1 the site will no longer be affiliated with the University of
California. The new server is almost ready and we will be using it to
prepare the new site.
Important announcements about the World Wide Panorama Foundation will
be coming out over the next few weeks. Exciting times ahead in the
world of VR panoramas!
