Despite the fact that I wasn't able to submit anything this time -
<grin> I screwed my shooting... you know, one of these things you don't
tell even to your mother? </grin> - I was eager to see it online and
spent a few hours this afternoon browsing the Diversity event. Great
shooting everyone. So many captivating, interesting, beautiful,
meaningful or curious panos.
There is one that I think deserve to be mentioned though: Peter Barnes'
"Working Man" (http://tinyurl.com/de5sd8). At the best tradition of
humanist photography, Peter was able to produce a simple and yet
touching and powerful panorama. Timeless in the way it made me recall
Lange's photos during the Great Depression and yet so actual. Peter's
pano bring to the table the REAL driving force of the economy, the
working force and not Wall Streets' white-collar criminals, wolves in
sheep's cloths. Thanks for sharing Peter, really, I appreciate.
Thanks all WWP contributors and organizers for, once more, a great event!
I'll be there on the next one. :)
