It's encouraging if you call yourself unexperienced, but still manage to
get results like this. My HDR tries have rendered terrible results until
now. Exposure fusing will work, but the results have been a bit
underwhelming. I think I need to have a go at tone mapping again. And I
probably have to tell my lazy self that I need to take at least 5
exposures and not just 3 :)

I must say it takes quite some guts to set up your precious camera in a
dust storm. The last time my macro lens touched a bit of sand I had to
have it cleaned professionally :(
