Then you are better equipped to handle it than most. Just don't put anything there that you would want to remain private, or not prepared to have pinched. You do not even need to use a real name to sign up.
My only issue with FB is that it can be an incredible time-waster ... But for keeping up with friends, family, and world wide news from an international community without the media sensationalisation or government sanitising ... it's hard to beat.
