RE: victory in the German courts!

I'll add my thanks for all the years of legal wrangling that it took to get
this great victory. Is there any effect for the other photographers whose
work was used? I see that Jook Leung, Bill E Ward, Martin Sammtleben and
others had panos used in the installation.

Wow. I am so pleased. I congratulate and thank all that pursued this action.
I'm so happy to hear this news. It certainly sends a message about the WWP
and establishes rules of conduct, so it is valuable for us all. It would be
nice to have a page on WWP telling this story, so it is not forgotten.

A month ago Reinhard Schmolze wrote to inform me of the final decision in
the lawsuit stemming from the copyright infringement by the ZKM (Zentrum
fuer Kunst und Medientechnologie) back in 2007.
After a favorable ruling the ZKM appealed, but the appeal was denied, so now
it is final. Many thanks to Reinhard Schmolze, Carsten Rees, Professor
Clemens Pustejowsky, and the others who fought this through, a project of
many years!
