Hi all,
1) the server is now open for the quarterly theme of ?New? ! (off topic, I know)
2) I'm rather confident that I now found and fixed the issue with older QTVRs not working. One of the possible outcomes in the player picker matrix (which weighs the browser capabilities vs. the available panorama data) was that "this is only available as QTVR, but can be played with krpano-flash" ended up triggering the krpano "with any method" setting instead - which then defaulted to HTML5 and ended up getting stuck accessing some nonexisting files.
I've added a new partial override clause to the matrix to catch this, where if a pano has QTVR but no HTML5, and this qtvr is marked as compatible with krpano "in general" but not with krpano/HTML5 it will now switch the "html5" attribute of krpano from "prefer" to "never". So: Problem solved! ... most likely, at least according to my tests.
This doesn't enable flash-less devices to play older panoramas on tablet devices without flash, but it'll get thinks working as intended from the start on desktop computers with the flash player!
Remember to do a reload/cache clear because this change is in the Javascript file. It *should* reload automatically since I've changed its version number but ? some browsers are very keen on not re-downloading files ever ;-)

P.S.: Sorry for the delay. I've had some water damage to my home, which kept me in a state of either rather occupied or rather strung out for weeks ? too bad it won't get fixed in time to contribute the "before-after" as a panorama to ?New?.
