Thank you very much for your questions about linking WWP and WHTour and about WH
theme.

ABOUT LINKING :
I did link WWP from my index page for a month already <http://www.whtour.org> and in
the press section as well <http://www.whtour.org/about/press.html>.
I don't plan to link directly to VRs hosted by WWP because :
- I like the way it is presented on WWP very much and I think the story about WWP is
important to know when new surfers are visiting. Jumping from my work to yours without
going through WWP index page would lead to a lack of clarity (remember that we all know
WWP here, but not the audience we are hoping to reach).
- I always personaly ask permission from their authors before linking works. I take that
opportunity to ask if the link will remain permanent.
- I would prefer to link "full" virtual tours instead of just 1 VR in order to provide a better
information about WH Sites covered by others. That's why I posted some weeks ago on
this list a call to those of you who are planning to show more than the 1 VR they made for
WWP.
Here is the call again : if you are hosting or will host a virtual tour about a WH Site that is
featuring cubic VRs in a edutainment way (not a portfolio for a company), I will be happy
and honored to link your work directly from my "browse by country" menu on the WHTour.
Please let me know.
- I don't have the structure to manage and host third parties on my own as I am alone on
the job, constantly traveling and also because I follow the ethics of journalism : I cannot
host within the WHTour, which is a documentary image bank, because I cannot check for
example if your work was indeed made inside the borders of a WH Site, if it has been
shooted in an artistic, partisan, political maneer ; if you are working freely, independently
and so on.
- To see examples of links that I am trying to find, please visit the three I have to Estonia,
Italy and Sweden. These are quality jobs I find very informative and genuine.

ABOUT WH THEME
As the WH belongs to Humanity, I am obviously not the owner of the theme. So all of you
are most welcome and encouraged to cover as many WH Sites as possible. Again, please
show me your results so I can link it. Myself I have approached WWP with these thoughts in
mind.
If WWP want to make WH as a permanent theme, I certainly won't be the one to boo at it
but I am afraid that it will kill the essence of WWP : it won't be an event anymore.
I have proposed this theme to Don and Landis for the next WWP : "families of the world",
showing one/our family at home. VR as an "immersive" media would be at its best with
such a theme, I think.
