I second the request for some statistics, while being
aware of the competition element.

I think it would be fair to let every contributor see
most of the stats mentioned below by Tudor for his
contribution (and his contribution only).

On an aggregate level the statistic I am most
interested is the total number of visitors and their
break down in insiders (i.e. us) and rest of the
world. Given the high load (and slow response time) on
launch date I suspect that insiders represent a high
percentage of traffic. Knowing how many outsiders
there are will give us a better understanding of the
impact of the WWP in promoting VR to the general
public.

To do so would however require a high level of
cooperation from contributors, for we each had to have
a cookie of some sort on our machine that identifies
us as contributors.

Other aggregate numbers that would be interesting:
- how many entries does an average visitor see? (I
suspect insiders look at many more than outsiders, and
I guesstimate outsiders look at 4-8 VRs on average).
- how many look at fullscreens vs. how many look at
small screen only
- what are the most popular ways of navigating the
site (e.g. I discovered on this even that I can simply
move from one fullscreen to the next, but this mean
that I am loosing on the non-FS entries and I don't
get to see the text. If this sort of path becomes a
popular one, I'd like to see the text in a pop up of
some sort, and a solution or at least a warning for
those that are not contributing fullscreens).
- how much time is spent oon a single VR (delta
between the access of the previous and the current vr
gives that time for the previous vr). average,
standard deviation, median.

just a few thoughts
