I can't verify whether or not it works on Windows because I don't
have access to that today. I'm sure someone else on the list can
tell you in quick order.

Works fine on my Mac, but it is quiet (actually I like the level, but
that's me).
We have the sound default to 30% volume because we had some problems
in the beginning with sound files just being unbelievably loud. We
had to fix that and bring them to a more 'believable' level. If your
sound file is authored a bit louder, it won't seem as quiet when
played in your page.
