Put my entry up over the weekend - haven't finalized it as the text is
not fully fleshed out and the images are the "first drafts". I think
I can squeeze a bit better detail, color balance, etc. out of the raw
files for the finals ...... but I digress ......

I notice that, due to the different aspect ratio (100x200) the
thumbnail image cuts off parts of what I would prefer to have visible.
So, my question would be, could I provide a thumb myself to be used
instead? If that isn't possible (for example, if the thumbs are
generated "on the fly" by the site rather than being stored somewhere)
then it's no big deal and I'll just adjust my starting image
accordingly as best I can to achieve the desired view.

Shot inside Adler Planetarium, Chicago IL, this image resonates on a
number of levels, for me anyways. As to the theme, I'm visualizing
the "absence" of atmosphere. The image is also one of technologies
reflecting on themselves; the panorama is a spherical projection and
contains a panorama and sky image projected on a spherical dome - a VR
representation of a VR representation ..... boxes inside boxes!
Technically the image was challenging as it necessarily needed to be
composited to capture both light and dark detail ... I'm still mulling
over the balance, and any comments are most welcome.
