I know nothing about the Fuji, but as a former Coolpix 995
user who upgraded to a D70 and Sigma 8mm, I have to say I am extremely
happy with my D70. And I dropped that sucker onto a concrete floor two
weeks ago, and both camera and lens are still working fine!

Compared to the 995, I?m sure with either camera you?re
going to be blown away by the difference in quality. No matter how many
hours I spent on a panorama, I could NEVER get perfect stitches with my
995, but I sure get them now. It was such a relief to find it wasn?t me
screwing up all the time, and that I really could make a good panorama
with the right equipment.

Hello pals,

I need your advice here.
Finally I have the money to upgrade my Nikon Coolpix 995.

But I am not sure which camera to buy.
I am between the Nikon D70 and the Fuji S2 Pro and will be using a Nikon
Mount Sigma EX 8mm fisheye lens.

I know some people on the list has both cameras or had used them like
Jook.
Please tell me which one gives me better features and better image
quality
for making spherical panoramas and family - Vacations pictures.

Or maybe some one know of a new camera in that price range coming soon ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
