Best way of selecting anything in Photoshop is to make a path with the pen tool. Then you can adjust that path if it is not perfect by moving around control dots. When happy you can save path for later use. Next step is to turn it to selection and then apply feather option to it to soften the edges. Very effective. Aleksandar
